- Do not bite too strong for too long.
- Rinse the reed with clean water and let dry after playing to prevent saliva plaque (mouthwash may also be used).
- If you are a heavy user, we recommend you to rotate between two reeds. 24 hours resting will fully rejuvenate the reed.

Very responsive and actually exceeded my expectation. I have always been searching for a synthetic oboe reed in American scrape, and the Legere European scrape just doesn’t work for me. That reed is way too resistant to play on. That said, I do notice that some of the higher notes on your Ambipoly reed sounds a bit flatter than on a cane reed for me.

The tone and response are fine. I am looking forward to testing out my Ambipoly reeds when my cane reeds are subpar due to inclement weather conditions.

The Ambipoly American scrape oboe reed is fantastic!!!!! Next on my wishlist = an Ambipoly American scrape English horn reed. My impossible dream = an Ambipoly oboe d’amore reed. I’ve bought your ligatures and Ambipoly clarinet reeds but, to me, the Ambipoly American scrape oboe reed is your finest product/achievement! Keep them coming!
