Alphonsos Silveira is Brazilian, born in Belo Horizonte-MG. He began his musical studies in 2000 at the Musical Society São Sebastião in the city of Sabará. In 2006 he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Clarinet from the Minas Gerais State University, in Teacher Daniel Campos’s class. He participated in masterclasses with professors Luis Rossi, Marcus Julius, Mariano Rey, Jorge Montilla, Fernando José Silveira, Amalia Del Giudice, José Batista Jr., Gilson Thome, Yuan Gao, Félix Alonso, Nailor Test Tube, Pedro Paes, Cristiano Alves, Luís Antonio Eugenio Alfonso (Mountain), Yura Resende, Joel Barbosa, Antonelo Pellegrini and Walter Alves. Participated in Masterclasses in conducting with Teacher Marcio Miranda, Charles Roussin, Dario Sotelo.

He was the Winner of the competition of the Symphonic Orchestra of State University of Minas Gerais in 2007 and also won the IX Young Musician BDMG contest.
As a clarinetist, he worked in the Opus Orchestra and performed along with renowned Brazilian artists like Fafa Belém, Milton Nascimento, Daniela Mercure and Flavio Venturini. He also worked in the Symphony Orchestra of Minas Gerais, Symphony Orchestra of Minas Gerais State University, Orchestra Sabará Institute, Symphony Band of the Federal University of Minas Gerais, Symphony Band of Minas Gerais State University, Symphony Band 12 de Março / Belo Horizonte – MG, Music Band Nossa Senhora do Carmo / Betim – MG. He recorded as a clarinetist in Family Moura Album (Waltzes and Choros) and Funicando (Waltzes and Choros).

He worked as conductor of the Musical and Cultural Society Santa Lucia, Retreta Lyra de Santo Antonio and was a guest conductor of the Paraíba Youth Symphony Orchestra. He was Coordinator of the Instituto Orquestra Sabará, Project Novos Rumos Lira da Paz and founder of the masterclass with clarinetist YUAN GAO / CHINA in João Pessoa, Paraíba. He lectured at SESC / MG, Musicians Concenvention in Caraça-MG, Escola de MPB Brasil com S, Curso Musical Sagrado Coração and the Municipal School of Music of Nova Lima/MG. Currently he is clarinetist of the Symphony Orchestra of Paraiba and Municipal Band of João Pessoa, participant of the intensive course in Performance on clarinet with Teacher Carlos Rieiro and also in the classes of conduction of Teacher Luiz Carlos Durier. Develops chamber music works with groups: Quintet “Sopro Nordestino” (Clarinet, Flute, Horn, Bassoon,Oboe), Trio “Camera Tríplice” (Clarinet, cello and Piano) and the duo “Dois Amores”(Clarinet and Flute).
