Music is a beautiful form of expression like no other. It has a unique power to spread comfort, empathy, and reflection to the world. Especially in today’s social and geopolitical climate where we are often measured by our differences, music reminds us of our commonalities and affability.  And this music, that we desperately need, cannot happen without its creators: the musicians.

The Silverstein Clarinet Contest, established in 2019, was born from a vision: to offer clarinetists from all corners of the world a true global stage. This event exists not only to celebrate exceptional musical talent, but also to honor the personal journeys that shape each artist’s voice.

From the beginning, the contest has been rooted in the principle of accessibility. There are no fees, no travel requirements, and no restrictions based on age or background. By removing these traditional barriers, we strive to create an open and inclusive platform where anyone, anywhere, has a chance to shine.
