2021 BETA TESTERS CLUB

The Silverstein Works 2021 Beta Testers Club is designed to better refine our newest generation of quality woodwind products.

Silverstein Works products, based on space age technologies and cutting edge design, have been successful throughout the world for more than 8 years, relied upon by artists, educators and students to meet their demanding performance goals. With these new designs, the products are evolving to represent the next generation, and next level of performance in woodwind technologies.

Through the 2021 Beta Testers Club, you will have access to never-before-seen Silverstein products in the advanced stages of development, and you will assist us in refining them for public release. Your participation will have real and lasting impacts on the playability and aesthetic of our products. You will be asked to keep detailed notes on your observations and submit them to us in a timely fashion.

We are inviting about 100 Beta Testers within various segments and demographics.
You may apply from any country and speak any language. If selected for the Beta Club, you will receive a $50 gift card for use in our online shop, and in most cases, products sent to you for testing will be yours to keep at no charge, except for any special product requested for return. Club membership lasts until the end of 2021. Various beta testing opportunities will be distributed to selected members based on their knowledge, experience and other relevant criteria as determined by Silverstein Works at our sole discretion.

Our requirements are quite simple:

You must be a clarinet or saxophone player, with demonstrable experience as a performer, educator, or an advanced level student. Your chosen musical style is irrelevant - we're looking for woodwind players of all types!

You must be able to communicate clearly and concisely (regardless of language) and meet evaluation deadlines.

You're willing and able to dedicate the time and energy needed to properly evaluate our products, and to respond with those evaluations in a timely manner.

You aren't employed by or related to someone employed by any other woodwind accessories manufacturer.

That's it.

If you feel you meet these requirements and would be excited to join with us in the evolution of our products, then please apply below. We look forward to your participation!

(All applicants will be screened based upon their submissions and evaluated for their qualifications for this program. Applying does not guarantee acceptance to the Silverstein Works Beta Testers Club, and club participants will be chosen at the sole discretion of Silverstein Works.)

Terms and Conditions

By participating in this program, you agree to abide by the following terms, conditions and rules.

You agree and understand that we, Silverstein Works, reserve the right and discretion to accept or reject applications according to criteria that we deem to be best suited for the intent of this program and to achieve the most efficient, diverse and quality understanding of the subject at study.

Acceptance into the program puts you into a pool of potential testers. For each product study we undertake, we will form a specific testing group by selecting program members from the pool to comprise the group. Program members will be selected for a testing group according to criteria specific to each product study we undertake.

We reserve the right to cancel or stop this program at any time, with or without prior notice, for any reason.

You agree to provide full and honest feedback, wherever and however asked, to the best of your knowledge and experience, regarding our product that we ask you to review. You agree to provide your feedback in a timely manner and to meet the feedback submission deadlines that we communicate to you, and by using the means or mechanisms that we describe, provide and/or make available to you.

Any and all of Silverstein Works’ (our) products, equipment and accessories used in this program are to be considered developmental prototypes (beta prototypes) and are not, in any way, to be considered “complete”, “final”, “marketable”, or otherwise ready for general consumption, use or sale, and are strictly proprietary in their design and function. These prototypes are owned by Silverstein Works or its affiliates. Any and all of these developmental prototypes introduced or included in the beta testing program should be handled with care; they are not to be used, shared or discussed with anyone else outside of the specific context and purpose of the testing group assigned to a particular prototype.

You shall treat any and all information related to this beta program as strictly confidential, including but not limited to such information as you create within the terms of this agreement, and also such information as we may share with you, including information you learn by interacting with the product we provide to you. We furthermore reserve the right to use, in any way or manner that we see fit, such information that you provide to us during the course of your participation in the program.

You hereby agree not to publicize, publish, broadcast, discuss, sell or otherwise share with any other party, except Silverstein Works and its appointed agents, any of the information you have learned, seen, heard or otherwise acquired through your participation in the program, for any reason, without a written consent from Silverstein Works expressly providing such permission.

You agree not to sell, give or otherwise dispose of any beta prototype which you receive from us, to anyone. In general, you will be allowed to keep the beta prototype for your personal use and consumption, which we give to you as part of your participation in this program. However, we reserve the right, in some instances, to recall any or all prototypes given to some or all of this program’s participants. We may or may not otherwise compensate you for your participation, using some other means as we determine. In such case as we request return of the given prototype, you must return the prototype to us in full and complete form as it was originally given to you, with exception for normal wear and tear associated with the testing. If so requested, you must return the prototype within a reasonable amount of time, using the means and resources that we provide to you.

You hereby attest and affirm that you are not in affiliation with any woodwind instrument or accessories manufacturing brand or company. If you are in association with a woodwind instrument or accessories manufacturing brand or company, you must explicitly notify us before your participation in this program.

You hereby agree not to bring any legal dispute or action, against either Silverstein Works and/or its agents or employees, or both, regarding any aspect of this program.
