Soon Sub Jung is an adjunct professor at Sung Shin Women University in Seoul, South Korea.
As a soloist, he has performed concertos with the Prime Symphony Orchestra and Muse symphony band. He also has played recitals in major halls of South Korea such as Seoul Arts Center, Sejong Arts Center, and An Yang music Hall. Professor Jung has performed throughout Austria, China, France, German, and South Korea. As a music director, he founded the Chun-Ang Saxophone Ensemble and the Universal Saxophone Ensemble. He also founded the 4 & 4 Saxophone Quartet which was formed in 2009.
He has served as Vice President of the Korean Saxophone Association. He has given clinics at the Korean Saxophone Summer Camp, and numerous universities throughout South Korea. He received his Bachelor of Music degree from Korea National University of Arts which is the best music school in South Korea. After KNUA, He went to Paris and graduated the Conservatoire National de Region de Reuil-Malmaison and Ecole National De Musique De Danse.
He teaches saxophone at the Chung-Ang University, Dong-Duk Women’s University, Sang-Myoung Universtiy, Chu-Gye University for the Arts, and Kang-Nam University.
