Danny Jung

Soulful, passionate, stirring…these are the words most often used to describe Danny’s music. Forged from his Texas gospel roots and his 2000‘s initiation into the thriving jazz/r&b club scene, Danny’s big, rich vocal approach sound is unmistakably his. After admitting to the University of North Texas, world renown for their vigorous Jazz Studies Program, Danny also challenged his academics with a dual major in Finance where he obtained the basics and understanding that it takes much more know-how in the industry in order to survive as an recording artist. The 90’s were highlighted by Danny’s stepping out of his blossoming student role and forming his own band after accepting a full scholarship to the Berklee College Of Music Music Business Program. It was there that Danny ultimately developed both his “voice” and songwriting in the crucible Boston/New York scene. It was also in Boston where A&R Representatives from Asia “discovered” him and brought him on tour, which led to three successful albums with Sony Records, including Make A Wish, Danny’s first hit record, Produced by Grammy Award Artist Nathan East and Sam Purkin As well, Danny obtained an 8 week playlist spot on the Billboard Contemporary Jazz Chart. Receiving world-wide recognition for his album, Right On Time. After moving to Los Angeles, Danny became an in demand session player for top artists in Asia, amongst many other recording Artists in the USA. Throughout the years Danny has has done extensive performing on vast Media outlets such as major TV appearances, Solo Concertos with reputable orchestras, TV and Radio hosting in both English and Korean, and being invited to many corporate functions such as the DAVOS World Economic Forum in Switzerland

Danny eventually wanted to take his music Career to the next level so he pursued his ambition as a Producer/Recording Engineer. With his taste for high-end vintage recording equipment and discontinued high in demand analog instruments, which as a collector can be a pertinent asset in his career field. Danny developed a recording studio that was far above the industry recording standards. Danny formed his own Production Company, called Jazzlife Media (www.jazzlife.com) and launched Jazzlife,LLC. Danny’s key ambition is to make innovating change through music in various cultures to support the needs of many organizations.

Through Danny’s success in his career, Hyundai Development has partnered up with Danny so that his very own line of woodwind instruments would be released as well. Danny is a major shareholder in the brand Albert Weber (www.albertweber.com)
